What materials did you use? Made completely from jewel tone flannels that were washed.

What are you most proud of? My daughter for years did not believe that I could sew (once I made a cheerleaders skirt for Halloween when she was 9 and she did not believe I really made it. I think after this quilt she believed that I could quilt and sew.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Gather up all your fabric and cut whatever pieces you need from the yardage that they mention. What I did was make up all of the quilt that I could and the five blocks that were not correct I made up one by one and fitted them into the design. It kinda scared me to think I spent good money on the fabric and the pattern had some errors. I guess they are only human.

I love the cheery, bright bold colors, especially the heart in the center! She knows she is loved and you miss her, too!

This was one of the first quilts I made after ten years of practice. I had learned that the yellow was for sunshine and the heart was the heart of the home or my heart. I incorporated them into this quilt.
