What was your inspiration?
I want to create pieces that can be multi-functional as we don't have as much money these days to spend on clothes. Therefore, the clothes we have have to work for us. This piece can be made in many ways, as a top, dress, playsuit or jumpsuit. There are over 20+ ways to arrange the top from the funky and casual look to formal and gracious.
It is the ideal wedding attire as it transfers so well from daytime to evening. It can even be made as a bridesmaids dress, with each bridesmaid choosing her own way to style it!
Take this to a summer festival - It will be more or less the only item you will need!
What are you most proud of?
The versatilty and the fact that this will suit any body shape.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Use a good drapey and stretchy jersey and use a deep waistband for extra versatility. However, don't forget that it's only the top that changes so feel free to make the bottom half from any co-ordinating fabric and in whatever style you choose!
