What was your inspiration?

I was called to make cupcakes for a movie 'Angry Little God's' currently filming in my city, New Orleans starring Rutina Wesley aka Tara from True Blood. The cupckaes were to have different flower designs. I had no idea what to do although I had used fondant before I never made flowers. My middle son aspires to become a sculptor and so I let him play with some fondant and had him make flowers. Well he did pretty darn good. He was my inspiration. If my 9 year old could do it then so could I.

What are you most proud of?

I overcame my sense of doubt and my flowers were approved by the director of the movie. I was chosen to provide cupcakes over a much bigger competitor.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Dont be afraid to try. If you mess up just keep trying. If you give up then you'll never know if you can do it or how good you are.
