A dish, a handful of light colored, flat rocks. Permanent markers, or paint depending on how colorful or simple you'd like to make it!
What was your inspiration?
I love and collect rocks so my children decided to use some to write me messages for Mother's Day. The more personal ones, I turned over for the photo. For Mother's Day we are going to paint and seal some larger ones for the garden.
What are you most proud of?
My children really understand what I love!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Think of all the funny things your mom says to you all the time. For example, I often say, "That's ridiculous!" I also have favorite songs, lines from poems, etc. Think deeply about the person you are writing for and keep it simple!
