What was your inspiration?
I saw the video and I thought it was a beautiful design that any woman would love to wear. I can't imagine not feeling very special wearing these pieces.
What are you most proud of?
I had a limited number of pearls and Montees, I had Montees in the larger size (SS30) also. So I adapted the design to use what I had. I love the way it turned out.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Before you start, be sure your work area is clear of things that will catch as you work the threads. Using 2 needles is much easier if you put a magnet at each side of your work area and when you put down a needle, put it on the magnet on the side it is coming out of the work. I find that if a needle is always in your hand or on the magnet, the threads do not get tangled.
