This was the very original prototype for the design which ended up being The Serengeti: a Baby Blanket from the Plains of Africa, and has just been released on Knit Picks website in the IDP pattern section.Knit Picks had discontinued the colors in this blankie, so I redid the design in 4 other colors, and called it The Serengeti.

What was your inspiration?
Wanted a special blanket for my soon-to-be-born grandson Levi.
What are you most proud of?
I just grabbed some yarn from my stash and started knitting - the colors just seemed to flow perfectly.
