Instructions
Its essentially the same wallet as the original creator's but made with fabric instead of oilcloth, seamed appropriately for the use of fabric. I had a bunch of cotton & flannel fabric left over from my first attempt to make handbags haha. Materials
Black vinyl, clear vinyl, leftover cotton quiting fabric, some flannel, velcro, zippers, thread, sewing machine, and a little bit of interfacing :)
What was your inspiration?
I really wanted to find a way to budget my money better, and walter&veronica's pattern looked like a fun project that would help me do so.... And i was correct! :D
What are you most proud of?
I think im most proud of the fact that i converted the pattern from using oilcloth to using fabric.....it took some math skills but other than that it was pretty simple, at least to me.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Read all the directions and follow them closely.....it makes a big difference!
