Instructions

Hug Me is worked both both back and forth and in the round on a 29” #10 1/2 circular needle (or size to get gauge). Two pattern stitches -- a Reversible Rib and a Mock Cable Rib -- are used.

The Mock Cable Rib is a four-row repeat created with a combination of slipped stitches and yarn overs -- no cable needle needed! Hug Me is seamless -- no finishing beyond weaving under ends.

What was your inspiration?

A chilly office! I wanted something that could be easily worn over any type of outfit.

What are you most proud of?

The way the two texture stitches work so well together. I had this yarn in mind for this design and spent a lot of time swatching to find just the right combination of stitches that would work well together and create a reversible collar.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Choose a yarn that will show off the texture of the pattern stitches well. Take the time to swatch before casting on the Hug Me.
