What materials did you use? Mimi Layer Cake by Chez Moi for Moda. Sashing is a high quality unbleached muslin from my local quilt store (Appletree quilting). I have not yet chosen the border/corners/binding/or backing.

I've been quilting by hand for nearly 2 years. My aunt gave me a sewing machine and I thought this would be the perfect project to learn how to make a quilt using my new machine! I love this collected by Chez Moi. I was hoping to create a little bit of an antiqued look with the neutral sashing and understated designs in calm colors offset by fun, vibrant, splashes of color and design found in a handful of the pieces. I am hoping the overall look is traditional/modern with a bit of crazy fun thrown in.
