Instructions

I used this pattern as the basis, however I did not put an insert into it and used a different closure and strap and I think I changed the dimensions slightly too to make the bag slightly smaller.

Fabric, batting, iron on interfacing, thread, magnetic clip and printable fabric

What was your inspiration?

This was a present for a friend's birthday, very hard making something for a guy. He's not a usual bag carrying kind of guy either so hopefully he will use it.... He's into photography, so I thought the film motif would work quite well and his favourite colour is blue....

What are you most proud of?

Using a printable fabric for the first time. I've seen these for a while and really wanted to give it a go. Something I will be using in the future for sure - so easy and getting to make something so unique - awesome!

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Bags are great and relatively quick things to make - awesome as presents or just for yourself!!!

Love it! You are so right about bags being awesome gifts that don't take a whole lot of time and effort.
