Red Heart Eco-Cotton

What was your inspiration?

I wanted to join Lion Brand's Crochet-Along this summer, and I think that making clothing is really fun in crochet. I teach crochet and it's always a conversation-starter to wear my work!

What are you most proud of?

Doing a good gauge and getting a really nice fit

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

DO NOT use 100% cotton! Your top will stretch out too much and not drape well. The Red Heart Eco-Cotton (75% recycled cotton, 25% polyester) and Lion Brand's equivalent (Recycled Cotton - 74% recycled cotton, 24% acrylic, 2% other fiber) are both great choices. My selection was the Red Heart Eco-Cotton in Currant.
