Quilt all quilted

Instructions

I went to www.quiltinaday.com and at the top right, you need to click on free patterns. Scroll down to Merry Go Round. That is a free pattern. Just use whatever colors you like, and go with it.

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Accessory

For: Other

Style: Funky, Mod

Materials

I used cotton material with batiks

What was your inspiration?

I am very inspired by Eleanor Burns. I get caught up in watching her videos, and I find myself wanting to go out and buy what I need to make whatever she is making. She makes her patterns so easy. And that is what counts. I find myself making quilts that I never thought I would make.

What are you most proud of?

I am proud that others look at my work of art, and actually like it. Quilting is just amazing.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Just as anything, read all the directions first and make sure you understand it before jumping into it. use a scant 1/4 inch seam line.

This is beautiful - and I love the idea of putting little 3-D flowers on it. This is going to be the most awesome quilt once they're all done. What did I say - it's pretty awesome already!

This quilt is already at our house in Mexico, my husband was not patient enough to let me finish the flowers. I guess it is a project for when I go there, which is not often. He goes more than I. One of these years it will get finished.

Stannita, follow the directions above to get to the pattern, click once on the pattern, I have to right click on my laptop, and click on save as, then get into where I saved it to, and print it out there. On my moms desktop, I just had to move my mouse at the bottom of the screen and a bar came up and I just clicked print. eithor way is a good way to print. good luck, I am almost done with a quilt top like my profile picture, will upload a pic when I am done. if you want the measurements when I get done I will share. because the pattern is just for the block. Let me know. I used 12 blocks, three rows by four rows to make a good size small quilt.
