What was your inspiration?
A local antique store has real mercury glass hanging everywhere. I was smitten! I seem to notice it everywhere now. It's pretty pricey though and so I can up with my own knockoff version that looks so real!
What are you most proud of?
that it actually looks like mercury glass and that although it took me 6 different tries I didn't give up.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Buy your glass pieces at the local thrift store. You are going to need some pieces to practice on to get the technique down.
