What materials did you use? floral fabrics, perl embroidery cottons, sewing thread, needles

What are you most proud of? I do still like the hand-embroidered flowers in the centres. It takes a bit of time, but I think I will keep doing this. (especially since I already have the designs on the fabric, so I can grab one to do at a moment's notice.)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you're a total novice, make your first project (or five) less than 36" square! Table runners. Placemats. Doll's quilts. Potholders. Bags. Coasters. Wall hangings. Cushions. Just leave the Queen-size quilt off the list until you know you can finish it before your colour sense changes!

It's going to be beautiful with a lot of memories. I hope you have a sewing machine now. Hand pieced is nice but so much more time consuming.
