I like the way your center is a print, but it is outlined with the same 'background' fabric as the String Block. Nice variation. The two blocks seem to make a more matched pair like this.

Thanks, I was wanting to see how it would turn out that way, and I kinda liked it too. The broken spider web block turned out about 1/8" too small. I may have to try again. Thanks agaian for the nice comment!!

I love the fabric colors and the print in the middle of the spider block as well. Great job!

Thank you for your compliment, I really appreciate it. The BOM has been really fun!! I am behind on April blocks, I need to get going.

I am behind too as I just got on board first week of April. I have to make the spider block (which I just picked fabric for last night) and I'm not too crazy about April's blocks although it's fun to see people's creativity come out. For some reason I feel a little stumped with ideas. Maybe once I cut the hex's off and start playing I can come up with something fun! Oh and I don't do hand sewing so I am cheating. I have the hexagon die from accuquilt and I will applique the pieces. :)

We have a seasonal business that we will open May 1st, so been busy working and getting everything cleaned up and ready to open. We close after Labor Day, so I will probably be playing catchup on the summer blocks. I am not a hand sewer either but I will give it a try. I'll have to see how they turn out.I am not really very creative so I think I will just do the same as Amy's. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
