What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Terrific project, but it took some brain cells to handle all the pieces to design and then keep straight when putting it all together! Love the look and am making additional tiles to make a larger quilt.

Yes!! I seem to be drawn to black & white prints (I guess because they make my gaudy colors pop...) and I just finished gathering them all together to consider a project...I put them with a favorite tomato-red print and wondered if it needed a second color...I guess not!! Now I just worry if it will look THIS good! I love what you did and now I'm excited to get started, too. Thanks!!

I love the overall look of this quilt. It has inspired me to use a similar white/black/gray and pop of color for a quilt in my guest bedroom. Thanks for posting!

It looks great! I love that you rotated some of the blocks.

Laughing at your "advice" - I was thinking it requires organizational skills that I apparently do not have. My blocks are done - just have to sew them together. I love the design but am not certain I have the fortitude to make it larger. Yours looks great and I look forward to seeing it after you've enlarged it.

Very pretty, and it looks great with some of the blocks rotated. I love the airport fabric. Fun!

LOL! That's terrific that you were able to pick out that airport fabric - when I saw it I knew I wanted it so was more than happy to fit it into this project.
