A full skein of 100 g of cascade 220 yarn and circular needles US 6-7 and 8. 1 cable needle and I button

What was your inspiration?

I spent lovely hours this summer re-reading some of the Comtesse de Segur books for children with great illustrations of women and kids wearing lovely French bonnets!
It became a great source of inspiration for my new hats, swarves and gloves to come...

What are you most proud of?

The cable stitch is very simple to knit and has a striking effect!
I am offering 2 patterns: 1 slouchy hat for woman and a cozy version for kids.
Woman head circumference 22- 22.8 (54-58 cm)
kid hat 20- 21.3 (51-54 cm)

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

You should be used to work in the round and have a basic knowledge of cable knitting. To prevent any issue I have added in the instructions a complete tutorial with many pictures explaining the cable stitch.
