I couldn't find the color of jersey I wanted so I dyed two colors and they didn't come out perfect, but they will work! I think next time I will purchase an airbrush as using a spray bottle gets a bit painful after awhile.Difficulty:

This is the Long Fitted Dress from Alabama Chanin's book "Alabama Studio Sewing + Design". I hand dyed cotton jersey and used fabric paint for the stencil, button craft thread for the applique
What was your inspiration?
All the beautiful garments in this book! They are stunning AND look so comfortable :)
What are you most proud of?
The color blue I managed to get! This is the first time I dyed cotton, I have done a lot of dying before but it was using protein fibers (wool, alpaca, silk, etc)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
swatch swatch swatch and allow plenty of time to complete
