Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: Fun stacked cake, carved roofline and covered in fondant. Gumpaste bell tower made a few days in advance and pre-assembled. Fondant covered cake board textured using star tip #16.

What are you most proud of? I think the cake board turned out super, a bit time consuming, but worth it. The day I was assembling the cake was super hot and ridiculously humid (very uncharacteristic) and made it extra challenging to work with the fondant. But I was happy with the end result and the client was thrilled. Mission accomplished!

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Make gumpaste pieces several days ahead of time to allow them to dry and be pre-assembled before cake day! Make extra pieces too. My little message board sign "broke" when attaching to cake. I used white chocolate to glue back together.
