What was your inspiration?
I made this for a fellow French teacher who was having a baby. The Little Prince is one of the best-loved books from the last millenium, and our students read it. She was having a boy and her room was done in purple and blue, and all the prints I used had celestial motifs (stars, moons, etc.)
What are you most proud of?

His hair turned out really well. I'm not very artistic and often mess up things like that.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
A trip-around-the-world baby quilt is one of the easiest and quickest (and IMHO prettiest) patterns you could use. I did a "trip" and then appliqud the design separately.
