Instructions
I adjusted the neckline of the bodice to be just a nice rounded neck without the slit; I adjusted the skirt waist and bodice waist to fit (since they were from different patterns). Wanted a professional dress for my daughter
What are you most proud of?
I used techniques learned in a class in Italy and was able to totally ignore instructions with the patterns. These instructions are often difficult and make the garments look "homemade".
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Make a muslin complete with lining.
