Redheart Octagone n Squares throw »

Instructions

The reason mine is called Octa-gone wrong. Is I did not count the bobbles in the center and ended with 7 sides not 8. Made it a bit of a challenge to get it to lie flat and all the pieces fit. In the end I think I like it better than the original pattern.

A mixture of Caron Simply soft and Redheart..

What was your inspiration?

The Crochet craft club with Mikey Smalley, it was part of his Octagon n squares challenge. I just loved all the posts that was being made showing these fabulous throws and knew I just had to try one.

What are you most proud of?

That I didn't give up. Even though I didn't pay attention to the pattern and made a huge mistake, I made that mistake work for me.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Read, reread, count and recount.
