What are you most proud of? That I got good with circular needles. I hold my straight needles in a weird way, with the end resting in the crook of the top of my leg while my feet are up on the coffee table, Then I can grip it & keep it stationary while my right-hand needle does all the moving--it's fast & efficient. So that quirk was out with the circulars.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Consider this a valuable basic that you can make a zillion different kinds of tops & sweaters with from now on.

So u are saying that once I have paid for this class,I don't have to re-pay,and the lilac sweater is knit from the same pattern? If so how do I go about doing this? Please give me more info. thank you

Yes, once you have paid for it the class is always available to you. When you sign in, there will be a title you can click on called My Craftsy I think it is. Click on that & it will list all the classes you have paid for. Then click on this class & you will have access to the videos & the material to download & print. The Lilac sweater is my version of it, but yours can look any way you want. If you make the lace swatches from the lace patterns given, you will be able to recognize the patterns I used & use them also. Making the swatches is really fun & then you have a lace library for future use.

What yarn did you use for this projects?

06/10/2013 Flag

It's Lily Sugar 'n Cream worsted cotton--the kind used a lot for dish cloths. Color is Soft Violet. It's very inexpensive. I used it for my first 2 cardigans to get in practice. It's really soft. I won't use it again because I love the high quality yarns, but still I'm very happy with it.

How many skeins/yards you needed for this cute project?

Hi Yolanda...I used less than 4 balls, closer to 3. Each is 120 yards. Top is about a size medium.
