Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: following the class i bought myself a rotozip and now i use it all the time its fab. i made my plans by drawing out the actual dog rather than using a printer. i measured up all the materials and calculated distances etc. It took me an hour to make the plans. Then i used the plans to make a stencil for the board for the head then used it to cut out the template. i found it bewildering to enter a diy shop and look for materials to buy when you dont know anything about diy. But you just have to dive in and go for it. it involved some sawing, glueing (swearing lol) stacking the cakes is better aswell as there are no dowels hiding in the cake just the steel thread rod. Ive since used this method on othr cakes and I will continue to do so. Many thanks for your class! xx
