What materials did you use? blouse weight silk Shantung.

What are you most proud of? After struggling with the very light weight silk that I (accidentally) choose for class, it turned out very well, and I'll never be afraid to sew on silk again.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't choose blouse weight silk shantung for your first project. A silk with a little more body would be easier to work with your first time around.

Very nice :-)

Kay -- Your Liberty Blouse is beautiful! Great color and choice of buttons! Very inspiring to get going on my blouse! I am envious of your sewing space :)

Pretty work, I like the nude color.

I love your blouse. I am also using a cream color. How did you handle the marking after basting? I find I can't see the chalk.

Sorry I'm so slow answering this, I didn't see it. White chalk worked a little better than yellow, but was still difficult to see. The gel pens work fine, but leave a very faint mark after pressing--so faint that it probably wouldn't be noticed. I opted for the white chalk.
