What was your inspiration?
I'm a writer by trade and a knitting addict, so it only seemed natural to knit letters and then make them "come alive" with personalities.
What are you most proud of?
That I made it through designing all 26 plushies (that's a lot of patterns to create!) and collaborated with graphic designer Lee Mundy to bring all of the patterns together in one book titled "The Secret Lives of Letters."
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Let your imagination run wild and create a fun character that makes you smile!! All of my alphabet plushies are fairly easy to make. You just have to knit two sides, then stitch them together. But if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me!
