Hello artistecylh, [To inform or remind other perspectivi about this image: artistecylh asked about where to place the Albertian Veil. In my response, I requested that artistecylh would post an image with the AV placed where it would be.] In placing the Albertian Veil on top of your drawing you have indicated where the eye-level line is. If this is in the correct place it means that the boardwalk is on an incline, that it is going up as it goes into the distance. From what I can deduce it seems that the boardwalk is level, not on an incline; therefore, your eye-level line is higher, that it is above the rail of the boardwalk. [If you need a review of the eye-level line, go to Lesson 1 and start at about 10:30.] Vertically you have placed this correctly. Either way, this drawing, as jamread noted, takes the viewer back in space. Well done. I look forward to seeing the posting of your next drawing.

This is lovely...so simple, yet beautiful. I feel encouraged!
