Instructions

I made several alterations to this pattern. The most significant was converting the princess seams from commencing at armholes to commencing at shoulders. This produced a much better fit for me.

Difficulty:

Category: Sewing

Type of item: Clothing

For: Women

Style: Classic

Materials

Leopard medium weight silky print

What was your inspiration?

A semi-dressy top for the holidays.

What are you most proud of?

The material. Nice medium weight, clean polished, no wrinkles.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Fit was an issue as my pattern size has changed. Lots of alterations. Make a muslin first to address all fitting issues.

I used McCall's 6076 but changed pattern. I converted armhole princess seams to commencing at shoulder instead. A much better fit for me. Thank you for your comments.
