What was your inspiration?
A fellow poster on one of my crochet groups posted a pattern for a scarf with flower motifs joined by chains. I tweaked her idea a bit with the idea of making the scarf look closer to a Hawaiian Lei, thus the Lei-Z-Daisy Scarf. I posted my modified pattern on Ravelry for free.
What are you most proud of?
This was my first attempt at writing a pattern and I am thrilled that it came together so smoothly. So far, no one has needed any clarification on the instructions.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't worry how it looks at first. The petals might curl and the spacing might not seem right, but a brief blocking with a towel and steam iron will bring out the pretty lei effect.
