What advice would you give someone starting this project? It is VERY time consuming and frustrating at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's addictive!

That's so beautiful! I would love to be able to make something similar to keep my "on the needle" knitting projects. I wouldn't have to worry about the yarns catching on any sharp edges or falling out onto the floor

Are your fabric strips cut on the bias? Your bowls look so smooth!

Sometimes, depending on the fabric. For this one, it wasn't. It was a thicker cotton fabric and it didn't fray much. Sometimes I use bias rolls for my baskets, too.
