What was your inspiration?
My lovely step daughter was itching for some fingerless gloves for months and dropping not very subtle hints. As a result, these were her Christmas present last year.
I will not be repeating the exercise!
What are you most proud of?
It was the first time I had knitted on DPNs - it was a long, slow, torturous experience. And I have made the decision that I don't like knitting on 5 needles. But I got there and Sophie was thrilled.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take time to ensure that you keep your tension even over all the needles.
