What was your inspiration?
I love repurposing clothes....this was made from a vintage crochet table runner, brown plaid skirt for the lining and the handle is the waist trim on the skirt...I added lace and ric-rac on the handle.
What are you most proud of?
Making something cute from unwanted clothes.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Take a look at a garment and cut off every piece of usable element...reuse these on something else...take off the buttons, snaps, waste trim, zipper, lace, vintage trim collar with pearl beads and ornamentation
