What was your inspiration?
My Dad sold me a merino fleece from his farm 2 years ago, and I finally got around to washing and carding enough to spin into a beanie for him!
What are you most proud of?
He was really impressed and is now proudly showing off his beanie to all the neighbours, even though it's the middle of summer still!
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
It's amazing how hard it is to spot the thick and slubby mistakes in the yarn once it's been knitted, so don't worry too much about it!
