300g of Self striping sock yarn

What was your inspiration?

I am totally addicted to self striping sock yarn, and not the fancy hand dyed, luxury fiber kind ether, but the commercial kind with harsh contrast and fun colours. I cant get enough of these yarns and if you want to give me a gift, guess what I would like.
Therefore my patterns often explore the possibilities of the self striping yarn and how you can get unpredictable results not knowing where the stripes will take you. Also I live in Sweden, where the cold winters always justify a fun, new warm-scarf pattern.

What are you most proud of?

The way the scarf just took control and decided on its own how it wanted to be.

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Have fun, go wild, play with crazy colours!

I am in love with this scarf! I bought the pattern and am heading out tonight to get the yarn! I wish I could find the same brand, but apparently it's not sold in this part of the U.S. Absolutely beautiful...can't wait to get started. Great job!!! Thank you!

I am so glad you like it! The yarn was bought in Sweden so I can understand it is hard to get in the US, but any self striping sock yarn will work. Good luck!
