What materials did you use? The Louet Beginner's Drop-spindle Kit, which contained a top-whorl spindle.

What are you most proud of? Trying

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Do not give up and do not look for perfection the first time out. I was a little disheartened to see the varying thicknesses until Dru Pettibone and other spinners on YouTube said that it was take practice. At least three days are needed just to get started.

Thank you very much. As you can tell, I had trouble getting started. I need to definitely work on that Onward. . .Next module--plying.

Great first yarn. Mine was so chunky.

Thank you. But it is a little chunky underneath. My first few yards are tragic :)

This looks great! I prefer a top whorl spindle now that I have used both. Are you still spinning?
