Instructions

I just took a cute print and added 1-1/2" borders, Then for the backing I used previously cut 2-1/2" squares. Good way to use lots of scraps. Since the squares on the back were 2 ", I quilted from the back side of the quilt with a serpentine stitch. It was fun and I liked the results.

I have purchased several panel prints for infants and will be using half squares plus squares to enlarge the front surface. Now I'll be adding those surplus squares to make backing. You are a mother of invention. Tremendous.

Darling nursery print and what a clever way to use up those 2" squares of leftovers! I like the simplicity of the borders and the quilting. It's so easy to overdo on projects that are much nicer with minimal adornment.
