What are you most proud of? The animals I sculpted out of modeling chocolate and the fondant tree.

I would like to know how to make the zebra please

Hi Lynnie, I am not sure why but your message didn't come to my inbox. I noticed it tonight when I was checking my page. The zebra was made completely from modeling chocolate. The only support in it was a toothpick holding the head to the body. I started by sculpting the body out of white into the shape I needed. Then I attached white legs, white head and white eyes. All of the black was cut by hand out of black modeling chocolate with an exacto knife. I had a picture of an actual zebra that I kept handy to reference while I cut the stripes so that they'd look somewhat real. I attached the hooves to the legs and added the details to the eyes as the last step. Hope that helps! Gina

Oops! Lynnie, I forgot to mention that I painted around the nose and mouth with black food colouring mixed with clear vanilla. That was the only I painted with the black. Gina
