So so creative! I am so far behind now, but I get so much inspiration seeing the amazing blocks here! It definitely forces me to push myself a bit. Can I "steal" your Nautilus idea and change it up a bit for my batik quilt???

Absolutely use this idea - be sure to post pics so I can see how it should be done

Oh my! How nice! What an interesting twist on the BOM. My blocks are so "by the book" . I Love this, especially the sea shell. Thanks so much for sharing. Wouldn't a whole quilt of the shells in different colors, just be so great?

Hmmm, shells in different colors - - rainbow shells? sea colors? batik shells on black? Could have a lot of fun with that idea - -

Go for it and be sure to post!!!

You could publish a seashell quilt pattern and sell it!

Thanks! I still think I will redo the shell - I have another idea but am not sure how much fabric I will have left to work with - we'll see
