What was your inspiration?
I recently went to an art exhibit here in Omaha called, Glory of the Ukraine. Many of the ancient jewelry pieces had small, delicate, dangling parts, so I decided to carve a few waxes similar in shape, but slightly larger and use them in various ways. This piece is a lariat.
What are you most proud of?
That I do all the work myself, from design to casting, to construction of the final piece.
