What was your inspiration?
Pattern found on Ravelry site. Wanted a sock that would be fast to knit, but not plain stockinette or too complex.
What are you most proud of?
Great fit! Nice knit/purl slip stitch pattern on the socks, hard to see in the photos, but gives the sock some extra "hug" factor.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
There are 182 yards in the skein, and I had enough to make the leg about 2 inches longer - or more, from one skein. I made the first size using 60 sts. cast on and they fit my leg nicely. The toe was done differently than I am used to. Could be the translation to English that caused the difference, but it came out so nicely, flat and well fitting. If you are hard on your heels, I'd suggest you do an eye of the peacock or slip stitch heel. This one is knit only.
