What materials did you use? Printed dark plum denim with random lighter splodges. It has a slight width way stretch.

What are you most proud of? The pockets at the front and the fly zipper. Also the top stitching. I took Kenneth's tip of using two threads of the main stitching thread instead of proper top stitching thread and it worked well. I am also very proud that I made these myself.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you think the first pair you make are good then make another and another as every pair gets better until you become an expert in creating a pair of jeans that are comfortable [I hate low rise] and fit you exactly. I am 65 years old and so wished I'd taken up making my own clothes years ago.
