What was your inspiration?

I loved the front flap of the pattern with the button down front.

What are you most proud of?

I'm happy that the two materials I chose actually blend together quite well. The green Japanese fabric is probably not usual skirt material, but looks good and isn't too jarring against the black linen.

I'm not so proud of my zip setting skills but fortunately any wonky seaming is hidden by the front flap^

What advice would you give someone starting this project?

Definitely make a toile first. I did and it helped me a lot with figuring out the pockets and overall construction.
