What materials did you use? cotton fabric

What are you most proud of? I bought a fat quarter bundle for the BOM, and these fabrics are WAY out of my comfort zone ... but there are owls in some of the fabrics, so I had to have them. :-)

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun with it!

I also discovered that I can't do "wonky" ... the thought of cutting the fabric "crooked" made me cringe ... the best I could do was slanted parallel cuts. More quilting OCD, I think. :-)

I was hesitant on this one, too....but I was actually surprised once I did the block. I liked it way more than I expected and thought it was super easy to do!!

Thanks! When I squared up the asterisk block the points of the two diagonal cuts didn't square up exactly, which I know will drive me nuts, but I'm going to try to live with the imperfection ... it'll be good therapy for my quilting OCD! LOL
