What materials did you use? I just used some fabrics I had in my stash.

Thanks so much for you comment! I always struggle with color selection. It is usually the most difficult part of quilting for me.

Love the color & contrast! Very nice finished block. Isn't it a fulfilling pasttime?

Thanks so much for you comment! I had to make the wonky pound sign block twice. The first time I made it, it wasnt quite large enough. Yes, I find quilting to be very fulfilling. It is very calming and relaxing to me.

Are you going to post other blocks?

Yes, I am planning on posting other blocks if I can ever make them the right size. I made my Balkan Puzzle block and, just like my first attempt at the Wonky Pound Sign block, it isn't quite large enough. I haven't tried to remake it yet. :-D I think I may end up with two quilts at the end, one that has 12 inch squares and one that has 11 inch squares. LOL

You can always add a thin border to your (short) blocks to make them 12-1/2"
