What materials did you use? Just regular cotton fabrics from various sources.

What are you most proud of? That it didn't disintegrate in the washing machine (yet!), and that the person I made it for likes it.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? I did some FMQ, some stitch next to the ditch (whatever that's called) and tried getting some celtic knotwork designs and a kitty from Celtic poetry into the biggest areas. I just put drew the pattern on some parchment paper and then did FMQ right through the paper. In hindsight, I probably should have tried using a regular foot for going through the paper but I suppose I can't learn if I don't try it!
