What materials did you use? very fine whale corduroy

What are you most proud of? putting in my first welt pocket! and top stitching all of those curves

What advice would you give someone starting this project? this fabric is beautiful, but has some stretch, which made top stitching certain areas a little tricky. listen to janet's advice about fabric choices.

Your fabric is absolutely beautiful - a really great choice for the pattern - great sewing too! I am interested in your comments about the stretch fabric, as I had been thinking of using a stretch fabric, might rethink that. I also have a piece of fine cord I wondered about, so maybe that will happen before our next winter. Thanks for sharing your finished jacket with us.
