What was your inspiration?
I wanted to make something for my oldest daughter that she would enjoy. She loves to snuggle up and this would be like me giving her a hug all the time.
What are you most proud of?
I'm proud of myself for modifying the original quilt pattern to make this a little bigger and also for taking a chance at how it was quilted. I tied this in the center of each block and the outside corners with a button being the backside of the center tie. It was (for me) a little bit of a risk and I love how it turned out.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Have fun, don't feel like perfection is mandatory--some mistakes and imperfections just make it all the more special.
