This is a wearable muslin. The front avobe the pleat came a bit off grain, and I wasnt too careful matching the the line on the sides. If you look at the back, there are some horizontal wrinkles, anybody knows why is that happening?

no i don't know, but from the bodice class, I thought horizontal lines = too much length.

sorry wanted to say, maybe a horizontal dart to pinch out excess, perhaps due to swayback. What does everyone else think, cause I would like to know too

in lesson 4, Astragirl has ? similar wrinkles and Suzy suggests taking out 1/4" at CB grading to 0 at sides to deal with the extra fabric...

Can I ask if you topstitched the top of the pleat on the outside, and how did you finish it inside? I'm making the same skirt just now but the only information I can find is for an inverted pleat which goes right up to the waistband and is therefore anchored by the waistband. Your skirt looks lovely! I live in Spain too.
