What materials did you use? Cotton mini polka dot and mini stripe coordinating fabric, purchased 'roses', woven ribbon, snaps.

What are you most proud of? I added pin gucks on the bodice, in addition to the pin tucks called for in the skirt hem. It is a sweet pattern for a baby girl. The photos show the front bodice and the back view. The back has a very interesting cross-over closure.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Just find some old patterns and start sewing!! It is fun. I have photographed the original pattern as one of the 'photos' for this project in case you might be interested in locating the pattern.

Cute, cute dress. Love the pintucks. I've purchased several older patterns with the same thought, just sew them up for the enjoyment.

Thank you. I love heirloom sewing and sewing from vintage patterns. Although this pattern isn't probably old enough to be considered 'vintage', I enjoyed making it in contemporary fabrics instead of batiste, leno, etc. usually associated with heirloom and 'vintage' sewing.
