What are you most proud of? I'm so proud of the fact that I actually got it to fit fairly well. And, I guess I love that the Icelandic pattern looks so good.

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch the videos here all the way through once, then watch again just before you attempt a specific new skill.

Sa-weet! Nice photo too with the background color. None too shabby in the handsome son department either.

It is really great! Superb that your son loves it. It is a cool sweater and the colors look very good with his haircolor. Did you know more and more men start to knit (again)? There are also a few male knit- and crochetteachers at Craftsy. In the old days more men knitted. I think it is extra cool when men knit. I did woodworking and other "male" things, and i have to say it is not easier or less macho. Just gotto get used to it. Maybe he could knit you a scarf :-)

Maybe one of these days he'll get interested in it. He really is good at choosing colors, and making other stuff, but no knitting interest yet.
